Heavy Bevel is me, Adam Edwards – A London based graphic designer/ illustrator with over 20 years experience in both branding and advertising.
From around the age of five (when I bought Ralph McQuarrie’s Star Wars Portfolio at a Bring-and-Buy sale) I’ve taken a keen interest in art, illustration, animation and typography – from my first Spiderman and 2000 AD comic books through film posters, rental video covers, Garbage Pale Kids, album/videogame cover art, band and company logos, pop art, Sci-Fi/Fantasy book covers, Manga and street art.
As a result I naturally gravitated to branding and advertising, where typography and art combine to communicate in a way which, when done well, can inspire and enlighten a large audience.
Some of my biggest influences include:

Jack Kirby
Frank Frazetta
Ray Harryhausen
